Bali yoga retreat 2021

Santhika is North Bali’s spiritual sanctum where you can share life long experiences with like-minded people from all around the world.

 

We have made many of our programs available online, with the intention to remove any obstacles for those who seek guidance, near & far. This way, we are able to serve all who seek Santhika’s wisdom, without any limitations.

 

If you are looking to slow down with life, relax, rejuvenate, expand your consciousness, evaluate your beliefs, give back to yourself and have an amazing time, Santhika Retreat is ready to provide for you. Combination of movements, static positions, breathing, and meditations will bring you to another level of awareness about all the blocks in your physical body. Your body keeps the memory about your life experience, emotions of the past, traumas, and self-disconnection. Kundalini yoga is the best way to work on it and release whatever limits you.

Practicing kriyas and meditations is a challenging experience. It is always your choice, how much you want to delve into it.

 

During the practice, you can experience a lot of resistance and tension, but passing through it, will bring you to a very inner world where you will meet with your soul, find answers to your questions, and discover your original personality. You will start feeling how your energy is moving, and you will understand that you are more than just a physical body.

 

Attending to Kundalini yoga classes and meditations will give you a deep spiritual experience you have never received.

Hatha Yoga

Many popular modern yoga styles came from classic Hatha Yoga. Hatha Yoga means balance between Sun (Ha) and Moon (Tha) energies, so why it has the power to transform you into a more balanced and strengthened being.

 

At the classes, we incorporate different styles, such as classic Hatha yoga, Vinyasa yoga, Gentle flow yoga, and Yin Yoga to focus on particular requests of participants.

Hatha yoga is an ideal starting place for people who are new to yoga. One of the more challenging aspects of a yoga practice is combining movements with breathing control, or pranayama. Both Hatha and Vinyasa yoga work to increase flexibility and strength, improve breathing and quiet the mind. Hatha yoga purifies the body in preparation for meditation. Vinyasa yoga is a fast-paced series of postures or asanas that focuses on the flow between movements, rather than individual poses.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga as exercise, incorporating principles of traditional Chinese medicine, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time than in other styles. 

A Yin yoga class usually consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer.

Meditation

Meditation is a powerful instrument to balance the entire human’s energy system.

During the program you will experience meditation practice from different traditions.

Chakra balancing meditations use different tools that help you to feel in which energy center you have imbalance.

 

Breathing techniques, colors imagination technique, chanting of different sounds and bija mantras - which one will become your favorit meditation?

 

We also offer deep meditation journey through a technique of Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing, that helps reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.

Every Sunday we invite you to experience traditional way of eating Magibung style and to enjoy Sunday evening on the beach with BBQ. We serve all food on a big banana leaf and eat together using your hand, like Balinese people usually eat at home. It's a great chance to share your feelings and experience with your new friends!
